It's the basis of a lot of shopping--that sense of envy. When you're looking for an outfit or style, when you boil it all down, it comes down to that little twinge of envy that you feel."

Wearing multiple pieces is in, Goede says...a couple of cuffs, or one big cuff and a couple of bangles. Talk about a scene stealer."

"What I find most visually appealing, and what I think is most envelope-pushing, design-wise, these aren't necessarily things that the mainstream public wants to buy. There's a huge disconnect between what moves us in Vogue and what we'll actually drop $100 on. So when Macy's handed over the list of the local designers they'll be carrying in fall, I wasn't surprised. The folks who got the nod have the most experience working with real clients."

"I started on a whim," Kirsten Goede designer of the line, Objets d'Envy, said, "I didn't imagine this could be a business." Goede's jewelry, comprised of Swarovski crystal, is colorful, simple and elegant. Graduating with a Masters in Fine Art from Boston University in 1990, she began designing jewelry for herself about five years ago. But she noted that she did not know much about trade shows, pricing, buying and other aspects of the business. She has since exhibited her designs at the Indie Fashion Market and received guidance from a Marshall Field's Designs of Distinction event two years ago. "I got great feedback and implemented some of their suggestions."

Our Famous Fans
Kyle's style and charm make her a fan favorite on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The show has captivated viewers with all the glam fashion and rich lifestyles. Kyle was in Chicago for FNO at Macy's. She was dazzled by the Swarovski sparkle of our Rock Candy Bracelet. The Frost color looks like diamonds. Perfect for her personality! Great to meet you Kyle!
Everyone's fave stylist loves Objets. How do we know? She chose to wear the Lemonade Rock Candy Bracelet on the Today Show (!) A FOO (friend of Objets) spotted it and called Kirsten...what a fun early morning call. Stacy has worn several pieces on her show What Not To Wear, including the Mini Cluster earrings. We think Stacy wears our sparkle well!
Our very first celeb fan was the lovely Gayle King. She absolutely adores the color yellow, so the Lemonade Rock Candy Bracelet was perfect for her. When she received it, there was a flurry of phone calls for matching earrings and other pieces. When all was said and done, she walked the red carpet at the Academy Awards (seriously...the Oscars!) wearing the Objets d'Envy collection. It was great fun to see the jewelry on TV and on all the entertainment shows! Since then, Gayle has worn the bracelet several times, including to the White House Correspondents Dinner and the Final Four Tournament. Thanks Gayle!
A true Southern girl, Corri turned heads with our Crystal Ball earrings. She was photographed prettily for Jezebel Magazine.
A sweet, handwritten thank you note surprised us! Jorja wrote us to thank us for the chain link necklace. We thanked her for modeling it! The Jackson Hole Film Festival was a little prettier thanks to Jorja and Objets.
We were thrilled to receive this cell phone photo of Paula Deen wearing our Sucre earring. Paula's production team was so excited to receive our box of jewelry that they used it for all the shows this season. So keep an eye out for Objets jewelry on any of Paula's Food Network shows. We hear that her guest stars wore it too!
The Objets long chain necklace was worn as a double strand by Olivia Munn for several press photos. We love how it looks against her skin and her fashionable LBD.
The actress and dancer (Dancing with the Stars), Stacy Keibler wore all Objets jewelry for a glamorous magazine photo shoot. The simple Lavaliere necklace was the right accent to her loose wavy hair and textured strapless dress. The jewelry really matched her sparkling personality.
Objets d'Envy participated in the Jackson Hole Film Festival. The talented Thora Birch (American Beauty) looked lovely modeling the Toile earring and a special drop necklace.
